Matter Of The Heart

SARS-CoV-2 continues to wreak havoc on two ventures that Aldo Comas pursues professionally. Even after the the total lockdown has ended, his wind tunnel Terminal Zero continues heavily affected by sanitary measures imposed by the governments of Spain and Aragon.

We talked to Aldo about his struggle to keep operations at Terminal Zero afloat during these challenging times in a longer video conference. Watch the first 2-minute teaser here. It focuses on the wind tunnel.

Aldo's flagship skydiving event - the BURNING SPRING Festival - is less of a business venture and more of a matter of the heart for him. Loosely modelled after the Burning Man that is held annually in Nevada's Black Rock Desert in the USA, the extravaganza was scheduled to take place for the fourth time at Skydive Empuriabrava this June. But travel and other restrictions required him to cancel it. Aldo vows to be back next year. A special Burning Summer edition is scheduled at Terminal Zero between 17 and 30 August 2020.

Below is another excerpt of the interview with Aldo. We will publish it in its entirety by the end of July in the first edition of our INDOOR SKYDIVING VISION newsletter. Subscribe by signing up at the bottom of this page - scroll down!
