The acclaimed premiere of a DanceSport discipline at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games (BAYOG) closed the circle on the implementation of comprehensive communications strategies.

Gradually and over a period of more than ten years, these strategies had succeeded in extending the brand of dance as sport beyond the classic disciplines Latin and Standard. Breaking – a.k.a. b-boying/b-girling – proved to be the most befitting discipline for the BAYOG sports program as well as for the assigned Urban Park venuein Buenos Aires, ARG, which DanceSport shared with 3x3 Basketball.

SAI had presented the first strategy to the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) in 2007 and forthwith oversaw all communications through 2018. This included the authoring of amendments to the WDSF Statutes and other governing documents.
